Since 1983, a network of foresters has been developed in France to track the forest decline phenomenon. Each year, sampling points are observed and allow to assess the progression of the diebak. The Deforpa research programme unites more than 40 scientists of diverse discipline and horizons around a common objective. The main results of the researches in progress are summarized and lead to some hypothesis about the causes.
