In early thinnings, in conditions of a high density of trees in an area, the horse skidding is the most advisable form of skidding. Statistical analysis of the results of studies showed that the time of skidding was influenced both by the distance of skidding and the number of trunks skidded in one operation. The character of this dependence has the form of equation of multiple regression of model: (Formel). The multiple correlation coefficient R = 0.812. The determination of the dependence of duration of the skidding cycle on the distance and the number of trunks in one load renders possible the prevision of work consumption and work efficiency at horse skidding of wood.
