Im Rahmen des Naturgefahrenmanagements werden häufig raumrelevante Maßnahmen getroffen. Bei der Entscheidungsfindung müssen Experten Unterlagen zusammenstellen, aufbereiten und sowohl miteinander, mit Entscheidungsträgern und zunehmend auch mit den Betroffenen diskutieren. Zu diesem Zweck wurde am BFW ein Communication- und Decision Support Tool (CDT) entwickelt und erstmals in der Praxis erprobt. Dabei zeigte sich, dass es auf die Fragen nach möglichen Anwendern, Einsatzbereichen, den Zielsetzungen sowie dem Umgang mit den gewonnenen Ergebnissen aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Einsatzbereiche keine allgemein gültigen Antworten gibt. Grundsätzlich fand bei den Praktikern der WLV der kommunikative Aspekt und die strukturierte Aufbereitung des komplexen Wirkungsgefüges von Naturgefahrenprozessen Anklang. Für notwendige Verbesserungen des Ansatzes in Richtung Praxistauglichkeit sind weitere Anwendungen und die Erfahrungen potenzieller Anwender notwendig.In the context of natural hazard management measures often effect spatial planning. For decisionmaking, the role of the experts is to collect information, to prepare and to discuss them with other experts, with decision makers and increasingly also with persons concerned. For this reason a Communication- and Decision Support Tool (CDT) was developed at the BFW which was implemented now for the first time. It showed up, that there are no common valid answers to questions according to potential users, operational area, the purpose of the approach and how to deal with the results because of the different application areas. Generally the communicative aspect and the well structured preparation of the complex natural hazard systems appealed to the practitioners of the torrent and avalanche control. For further improvement of the approach to user demands, more applications in practise and the know-how of the potential users are needed.
