Discharge control in torrent watersheds by the means of integrated ameliorative measures : Poster presented at 26th Session of the European Forestry Commissions working party on the management of mountain watersheds, FAO and European Forestry Commission, 19.-22.08.2008, OULU, Finland
Runoff prevention in alpine torrent catchment areas by watershed management gets more and more important. Effects of such long-term and preventive programs are investigated in the catchment of the Finsing River (Ziller Valley, Tyrol). Simulation of heavy rainfall, surface runoff coefficient mapping and precipitation runoff modeling should gain a quantitative hydrological evaluation of the effects of Integrated Ameliorative Measures set in the fifties.
