Adducing as an example publications of Abetz the writer describes how the forest - evaluation doctrine developed methodically in the last 30 years. The numerous official guiding principles which have essentialy furthered the practical forest - evaluation are pointed out. Proceeding from the improved yield-conditions of forestry the often changed relation from the soil selling - value to the soil prouctivity - value is examined and the unchanged expediency of the forest - rate of interest of 3% emphasized. Finaly questions of indemnification for power-lines etc. and for browsing damages are treated.
