In the work a new method of determining the site class of pine in spruce- pine stands was presented. It has based on the mean height of one hundred thickest pine trees on an area of 1 ha and on the stand age. In the stands in which the number of pine trees per 1 ha is smaller than one hundred the site class is determined on the base of the mean height of all the trees and then multiplied by a reduction coefficient which depends on the number of pine trees on 1 ha.
