Abstract
There is growing evidence that human health and human well-being are enhanced by exposure to nature and that levels of biodiversity in natural areas or green spaces determine the magnitude of this positive effect. Measures of exposure to biodiversity in these green spaces are needed to quantify the health effects of such green spaces.
